Start with your written scope
Website pages explain our capabilities in general. Your proposal, signed service agreement and project documents define the actual services, responsibilities, service levels, fees, billing schedule, notice periods and any special terms for your account. If this Help Center and your agreement differ, follow the agreement and ask your account contact to clarify.

02How we set up and deliver work
Clear scope, responsibilities and communication help projects start smoothly and improve over time.
- Understand the work
We discuss your goals, customer or operational needs, current process, tools and constraints.
- Agree the working model
Define whether support is a dedicated team, flexible capacity or a project-based engagement, then confirm roles, coverage, volume, deliverables and fees.
- Prepare and launch
Agree onboarding materials, access, scripts or procedures, escalation contacts, handoffs, reporting definitions and the start date.
- Review and refine
Use the agreed check-ins and reporting to raise questions, review results and adjust the scope through the change process in your agreement.
What to prepare
- Primary business and project contacts
- Goals, priorities and success measures
- Approved workflows, scripts and escalation rules
- Required tools, access and security instructions
- Coverage hours, holidays and communication preferences
What to confirm in writing
- Included tasks, exclusions and deliverables
- Assigned roles, team size and coverage
- Reporting cadence and KPI definitions
- Fees, billing cadence, deposit and invoice due dates
- Change, pause, cancellation and notice terms
03KPIs and reporting
Reports should be read using the definitions agreed for that project.
Daily, weekly or monthly views may be used depending on the project, available data and agreement. A daily activity count, a weekly conversion result and a monthly service quality score describe different things. They should not be compared as if they use the same unit or target.
| Work type | Example reporting measures | What to confirm |
|---|
| Customer support | Cases handled, first response, resolution, QA, customer feedback | Channels, working hours, SLA clock and case categories |
|---|
| Technical support | Tickets received, resolution, response, escalations, SLA attainment | Supported products, severity levels and escalation rules |
|---|
| Outbound campaigns | Attempts, connections, qualified leads, appointments, follow-ups | Audience, definitions, dispositions and campaign attribution |
|---|
| Virtual assistance | Tasks completed, turnaround, open items, accuracy checks | Task list, priority rules, dependencies and acceptance criteria |
|---|
| Data projects | Records researched, delivered, completeness and validation results | Source rules, permitted use, required fields and review method |

04Invoices, deposits and payment timing
Use the invoice and signed agreement for the exact amounts, dates and rules that apply to your account.
Projects may use weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly or milestone-based billing. Separate projects in one account can have different billing schedules. The agreement and invoice should identify the service period, amount, issue date, due date, payment method and any applicable taxes or additional charges.
Weekly billing
Check the invoice for the specific work week, issue date and payment due date. Confirm how partial weeks, holidays or a change in scope are handled.
Monthly billing
Check which calendar or service period is covered and whether the charge is billed in advance or after delivery, as stated in your agreement.
Quarterly or yearly billing
Confirm the covered dates, renewal or review dates, payment due date and any cancellation or notice requirements in writing.
Project or milestone billing
For scoped projects, invoices may be tied to agreed milestones or deliverables. The project schedule should state what triggers each invoice.
Deposits
A deposit is required only if it is stated in your proposal, agreement or invoice. Those documents should explain the amount, due date and whether it is credited, refundable or otherwise applied. Do not assume a standard deposit amount.
Grace periods and late payment
A grace period applies only when your written terms specify one. Check the invoice and agreement for the due date, any grace period and what happens if payment is late. Contact us promptly if you expect a delay so the account team can explain the applicable terms.
Invoice question? Email support@contentedgesolutions.com with your project name and invoice number. Do not send card details, passwords or sensitive personal information by ordinary email.
05Changing, pausing or cancelling a project
Notice periods and charges depend on the specific agreement. There is no single notice period that applies to every client.
Start with the signed agreement. It sets how notice must be delivered, the required notice period, the effective date and any fees due during that period. A weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly billing cycle does not by itself establish the cancellation notice.
To request a pause
- Send written notice through your agreed account channel.
- Identify the project, requested pause date and expected restart date.
- Ask how staffing, access, work in progress and charges are treated while paused.
- Wait for written confirmation of the pause terms and restart plan.
To request cancellation
- Send written notice using the method in your agreement.
- Ask the account team to confirm the notice period and effective end date.
- Review any final invoice, work handover, data return or access changes.
- Keep the written confirmation with your project records.
Do not rely on an assumed “one week” or “one month” rule. The agreement may define notice in days, billing periods or another way. If a document is unclear, ask us to confirm the applicable date and fees in writing before changing the work.
